Mollenhauer Denner Sopranos

Mollenhauer’s Denner series was developed after original instruments of Jacob Denner (1681-1735) based in Nuremberg and Copenhagen. Mollenhauer have a nearly 200 year history of craftsmanship, and pride themselves on producing excellent instruments from top quality wood at a reasonable price. These instruments are suitable for demanding players of both solo and consort work.

The soprano is very elegant in tone and appearance. It is a slim instrument, with a clear and pleasant sound ideal for virtuosic music. The Denner soprano range won the highly acclaimed German Music Instrument award in 1999.
