Marsyas recorders are produced by Kung of Schaffhausen, Switzerland, based on years of research by Heinz Ammann. These are professional instruments, manufactured partly by machine then tuned and voiced by hand.

The instruments are of baroque design principles. They offer dynamic playing, with effortless response in all registers, and a colourful clear sound. The outer shape, exclusively designed for Marsyas recorders, is an attractive and elegant detail.

These recorders are suitable for the most demanding solo and ensemble playing.
